yay seahorse-thing.

mixed media (mostly watercolor, but also some gouache and acrylic, lines done in prisma pens) at 11x15. this took way too long to finish.

watercolor hawk. not sure what species, reference photo was from the FM forum, but it didnt say. i started drinking sweet tea vodka about half way through the feathering, which is when it all started getting really linear and symmetrical. i hate when i lose the natural chaos when it comes to feathers... oh well, perhaps i'll nail it someday.

little painting on a little bit of wood i had sitting on my desk forever and a day. been wanting to do something with it, and this fit the shape. about 2x2.5 inches, acrylic and watercolor. ive been wanting to paint an ammonite for a while, but this is kinda small so i might have to do another one. :P

gouache with a little bit of water color and a littler bit of acrylic. yes, i know they arent actually that dark. i'll blame the bad color job on the lack of blue jays in southern california.
