another WoW pic. this took way too long... something like five hours start to finish.  fun, though. maybe i'll do another tomorrow, if i have time after doing all the weekend chores that have piled up...

spent the evening doodling. of the several things i got done, this is the most presentable.  it took forever to color.  i am so out of practice that i am making newbie mistakes and having to go back and redo entire layers.  i do like the way the hair turned out, though.  so lets see if i can convince myself to do a few more tomorrow.

so much for the Sketch-A-Day idea.  now that i have three days off in the middle of the week, though, maybe i can manage a Three-Sketch-A-Week plan.  we'll see.

getting started

it seems that most of my artist friends have art blogs to keep a running record of sketching, lifedrawing, and works in progress. i figure i'll set one up and try to keep it updated in an effort to get myself back into drawing daily. at this point, i cant say if it will work as a motivation or not, but here's hoping.
